Before you upload

Prepare clear, complete files

Photograph the entire document on a flat, well-lit surface, or save it as a PDF. Make sure names, tax years, amounts, and all page edges are readable.

  • W-2, 1099, and other income statements
  • Photo identification and Social Security or ITIN notices
  • Prior-year tax returns and IRS or state letters
  • Business income, expense, bookkeeping, and payroll records
