Frequently Asked Questions

I received an IRS letter — what should I do first?

Do not ignore it. Most IRS letters have a response deadline of 30–60 days. Call us immediately. We review IRS notices for free and tell you exactly what it means and what action (if any) is needed.

What is an Offer in Compromise?

An Offer in Compromise (OIC) allows you to settle your tax debt for less than the full amount owed if you can demonstrate that paying in full would create a financial hardship. The IRS accepts roughly 40% of OIC applications. We evaluate whether you qualify before preparing your submission.

Can you stop a wage garnishment or bank levy?

Yes, in most cases. Once we file a Power of Attorney and contact the IRS, collection actions are often suspended while we negotiate a resolution. Time is critical — contact us as soon as possible.

What if I have not filed taxes for several years?

We can prepare and file all unfiled returns. Getting current is the first step to resolving any tax debt. Penalties and interest continue to grow on unfiled years, so the sooner you act, the better your outcome.
